Koperasi TKC Berhad’s ALK agreed to make a trip to Kangar end February 2016 to meet with JAIP’s senior management and hand deliver the letter applying to get authorisation to collect zakat from eligible contributors on behalf of MAIP. We were pleased when members decided to accompany us and make this a “rombongan” to Perlis. After the meeting we went on a tour of Perlis, shopping in Padang Besar and had meals at well known places. We recruited Dr Faiz to be a member of Kooerasi Tkc Berhad. We spent two nights at a member’s Homestay in mata Ayer. It was a memorable trip among members.
